Dr. Brian Holt
Principal

Being part of the TOES family since 2019 has been a tremendous blessing for me. The faculty, staff, and students are some of the best you'll find anywhere. I joined Twin Oaks as assistant principal in the fall of 2019, having spent the previous 21 years as a grades 9-12 teacher at high schools in Crisp County, Effingham County, Worth County, and Lee County. I have taught Social Studies, English/Language Arts, Broadcast Video Production, Graphic Arts, and Journalism. I advised yearbooks and newspapers for 15 years. I broadcast Lee County football games online and program the stadium's jumbotron. I earned my Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, in 2017, and I completed my Education Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Liberty University in 2022. I have an Associate's Degree in Education from Abraham Baldwin College in Tifton, and my Bachelor's and Master's degrees are from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA. I love anything technology-related and learning new things. My amazing wife Melissa teaches at Lee County Middle School West. We live in Lee County with our three wonderful children: Audrey, Zachary, and Levi.

I want what is best for my children and all the boys and girls in Lee County. If there is ever any way I can help you, please let me know.

Danielle Whitaker
Assistant Principal

As a proud Lee County native, I matriculated through the Lee County School System from elementary through high school. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia. Go Dawgs! Upon graduation, I returned home to Leesburg and began my teaching career at Twin Oaks Elementary School teaching 5th Grade English Language Arts (ELA). Concurrently, I continued my academic pursuits earning a Masters of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southwestern State University. My journey led me to North Carolina, where I taught 5th and 6th Grade ELA. However, I quickly learned there’s no place like home and returned to Lee County to be closer to family. At Lee County Elementary School, I continued my career teaching 5th Grade ELA. I transitioned to Lee County High School and became a Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education Teacher specializing in the Teaching as a Profession Pathway. This allowed me to play a crucial role in preparing students for future careers in education while sharing and instilling my love for teaching. During this phase, I earned a Leadership Certification from the University of West Georgia. This commitment to life-long learning reflects my belief in continuous improvement and excellence in education. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and traveling. I am thrilled to serve as the interim Assistant Principal to continue sharing my passion for education with the next generation. If you need assistance or support, please feel free to reach out. I am here to help and contribute to the educational journey of our community.
